At this months meetup we will have a home inspector come show us what to look for when walking a potential purchase. How to spot hidden issues and to know what is fixable and when to run! The meetings are interactive and all your questions are welcome. We are very casual, this is a social networking group and no one will be there trying to sell you anything. Christine Shack
Christine Shack has been a home inspector for 8 years. During that time she has inspected over 3,000 houses in the DFW and the surrounding areas. She holds state licenses in termite inspection, mold inspection, & lead inspection, and she specializes in historic homes and investment home inspections. While working as an inspector, she has studied building diagnostics and building science to create a system-based inspection that intensely covers all aspects of the home. Christine has also trained and managed other home inspectors at a Dallas based multi-inspector firm. As a strong proponent in continued education in building science, Christine has advanced certifications in Thermography, roof inspection, and pool inspection. Foundation elevations, infrared scans, termite evaluations, using state of the art tools and technology, are all included as part of a standard inspection. As a fellow real estate investor Christine understands the importance of accurate repair costs and is happy to consult her clients at every inspection. In addition to the inspection, Christine provides an in-depth report that has been touted as one of the best in the industry.
When Christine started Shack Inspections, she had a vision of providing an inspection that was thorough, easy to understand, most importantly, not overwhelming for her clients. Understanding that a home is most Americans’ largest investment, Christine does not take the responsibility of home inspecting lightly, which quickly becomes evident from start to finish.
