The Pittsburgh REIA monthly meeting will have a rock star, the legendary Lou Brown.
Lou will spend 90 minutes teaching us about how he uses trusts for asset protection. Asset protection might not be a sexy topic on the surface, but once you have some assets, it gets a lot sexier.
There is an even cooler aspect to trusts, not only can they hide your ownership of a property, but they can also be used to take over a property without transfering it. Let that sink in for a second. Due on sale clauses are the achilies heel of suubject too deals, but with a trusts that is now irrelevant.
You can also use a trust to pass ALL of your wealth to the next generation without losing any of it or going through the long pand expensive probate process.
This is all very powerful and confusing stuff. That is why I am brining the nations leading trust expert to explain all of this in a language that real estate investors will understand.
