Bill Couture is a VP Commercial Loan Officer at Jewett City Savings Bank where he’s worked for the past six years. His banking career started in college as a part-time teller at People’s United Bank and became a branch manager for a number of years post-graduation. Bill has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA from the University of New Haven.

As a “side-hustle,” Bill started investing in real estate at the age of 22 in 2007 by house-hacking a duplex in Plainfield, CT. The Great Recession caused a delay in Bill’s real estate investing journey but in 2012, Bill purchased a non-owner occupied four-plex and has since acquired, rehabbed, wholesaled, flipped, managed and sold a variety of properties including single-family, multi-family, mixed-use commercial, self-storage and land which houses a billboard. Bill and his wife Kim self-manage their rental properties which account for 70 doors currently. All of the properties are located in Windham County, CT.
