Co Host or share a profile to self manage an STR

My partner and I are about to list our first STR together and we plan to self manage. We would like to share the property management and I was wondering if anyone had feedback on co-hosting on Air bnb? I also heard that sharing a profile is an option? Does anyone have any pros and cons of each strategy? How do the channel managers such as smart bnb work with these strategies?
