Best Short Term Rental Markets in Southeast?

Curtis Wang
Posted

I'm looking to invest in a SFR in a beach city in the Southeast in cities that are STR friendly. I've been looking at Destin, Panama City, Clearwater, Palm Beach, Myrtle Beach, St Augustine, Daytona. Trying to buy a home for less than <600K. Any thoughts on how best to cull this list down?

@Curtis Wang don't you love when you ask a question and the answer is go look for other articles on your topic (these forums can be really frustrating) ……the short term shop helped me. Definitely consider where you like to go or where people in your circle vacation. I love Orlando and recently visited with my family so that's my first market that I'm researching. But I am also researching cabins and ski attraction areas. YouTube is also great for information on STR.

The short term shop, tony Robinson from bp rookie, and robuilt are my favs.
