Anyone in the St Pete / Dunedin area?
I’ve researched my tail off, have spoken with realtors, etc but i’m looking for first-hand experience.
How is the STR market in the Dunedin area of St Pete? From what I understand, parts of Dunedin allows STR and parts of it don't - I haven't been able to find any zoning maps showing what areas allow and which don't.

Dunedin is not an "area of St Pete", it's one of the 24 incorporated municipalities in Pinellas County and doesn't even share border with St Petersburg (at their closest point, the two cities are about 12 miles apart, separated by the cities of Clearwater and Largo.
As you may have guessed, each of the 24 municipalities have different rules and regs regarding short term rentals. And even within the same municipality, it depends on zoning for the specific parcel in many cases.
The Pinellas Realtor Organization has a great tool showing an overview and a point of contact for each municipality at https://pinellasrealtor.org/sh... - From what I can see, Dunedin has no rules on the books prohibiting or regulating STR.
But Dunedin is also pretty small. The unincorporated areas (governed by the County) and areas within the City of Clearwater that surround Dunedin would each have different rules.
