Would you house Ukrainian refugees in your STRs?

I figure the government is going to pay to house refugees until they can stand on their own feet.  It's probably included in the $350M aid package.  So my answer is "yes" if I'm being compensated.  I read in the news where AirBnb is already doing something along these lines.

I'm sort of on the front line with new citizens.  Every week I see 4-5 Spanish people with a brand new Texas or Arkansas drivers license, a brand new SS card, and a local cell phone number.

I heard AirBnB offering to house 100,000....not sure where or who pays, but interesting to put it out there.

I would expect most are awesome tenants, but I also worry about what happens when the money runs out and they potentially have no place to go.

That happenned with many Katrinia refugees....after a year or 18 months, FEMA or whoever quit paying. Some were not really used to working or finding work....I remember sitting in JP court one day hearing all these stories years ago.. Different side of life.
