LOOKING FOR A VACATION HOME/ SHORT TERM RENTAL

I am looking into making my first short-rental purchase to use as a vacation home to escape our current climate during the winter months around the Orlando/Kissimmee Florida area. We live in the midwest and want a vacation home out there. Would love to hear if it's worth the attempt or best advice.
