Sublet and Short Term Rental
Hi, my fiance and I are new to real estate investing. We just purchased a home in upstate NY. We aren't ready to start short term renting and are looking for regular long term renters. An agent has a potential renter that asked if we would be willing to sublet while they make it a short term rental. We would get a percentage of the profits plus our rent. Would anyone have any input as to the pros and cons of this? Is this just a bad idea? Thanks in advance!
