USING HOMEMADE CLEANING SUPPLIES

Hi everyone, we are in the process of looking for a new cleaner for one of our STR's and the cleaner said they prefer to use their own homemade cleaning supplies...vinegar and water, orange water etc.. Does anyone here have experience using natural products? Thoughts on being a good or bad idea in a STR?
