Expectations for Destin STR reservations pick-up

I invested in my first short term rental in Destin last august. While I know that I closed on the purchase just before the down season, I am wondering when bookings start to pick up for the high season. I would appreciate hearing about your experience(s).

$101,000 124 days booked. Most of it booked in the last 10 days. Which means my prices were probably too low. Let that be a lesson. Don’t go a week without looking this time of year lol. 

4 bedroom Destin. Will likely end up around 150-160k for the year. Keep in mind it’s empty for around 100 days in the winter. Which is nice because I get a break.
