Is RankBreeze worth it?

Question

We've had our STR 2/1 cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma for over a year. Superhost on Airbnb and Premier Host on VRBO. My husband and I are still working our W-2s (and extra), but we can't move on another property until this one is at least paying for itself. Is something like RankBreeze really worth the price to help get our property seen more often? When going incognito on booking platforms, our place is really difficult to find. I've called support for Airbnb and VRBO many times -- super friendly but no real difference.

I would love to hear from those familiar with this option (or any similar option available). Thanks!

I have tried it in the past but I didn’t see the value in it. It’s making an assumption that little actions you take are changing your ranking position on Airbnb. I learned the little actions and implement those from time to time.

Honestly I would say just try it out for 1-2 months and if its not creating a huge difference then just cut it off. Everyone has different experiences with everything.

Professional SEO here with 15 years experience (who happens to be looking to get into the STR game in the next 12-18 months).  Looked at the product features and saw this:Start your Airbnb search optimization with a set of simple tools. You’ll reverse engineer top-performing properties and get title & description recommendations, discover rare amenities in your market, & utilize competitor’s reviews to convert more guests.

My expertise is in increasing visibility in search engines (and lead generation for law firms, roofing companies, etc) and not the AirBNB/VRBO algorithms. That said, I think there's some truth to parts of the above statement but you have to read through it logically.  "Discover rare amenities" stands out to me because that's likely a key way to filter out a lot of the competition in search.  I would presume including an amenity in your title that is rare would be far easier to rank for. And I would presume the title and description for your listing to be the most influential data in your listing. Since they even mention "get title & description recommendations" only reinforces this.

I'm unsure of what their tool stack consists of but I would presume it to include data associated with an estimate regarding how frequently specific keywords are searched for on these platforms (and potentially broken down by market). I suppose they provide some examples too of a well-optimized listing title and description, but as it also states, you can likely look at the listings that already rank well and sort of emulate or steal from those.

Don't know if any of my presumptions are correct or not but just felt this might provide some insight based on my adjacent expertise.

We're part of a large group of STR hosts and people use Rankbreeze or Intellihost a lot! There seems to be a lot of good value and in this year's market people are seeing good results from it.

Just speaking personally, and not knowing anything about rank breeze, I don't think you need any other platform to help you out unless you have a horrible location? It just takes time. Have you checked out your competition in the neighborhood to see what their places look like, and what amenities they offer? Maybe you are falling a bit short and don't even know it?

I found RankBreeze a bit confusing.  There was a couple of good features I liked though about seeing your competition and the some extra data about the guest (it's been over a year - bit fuzzy on this). I heard a video promoting Intellihost - wonders if anyone has used?

Three years in and never had rank breeze

personally I don’t see the value in it. There are so many free resources and fb groups out there that will give you listing advice and help you.

And once you get the hang of it, it’s like riding a bike. You just kinda know what you need to do to get pushed up in the algorithm
