What platform can I use to collect STR payments outside of Airbnb?

I'm looking for a payment method or platform for a STR that is not listed on Airbnb. I can only find platforms that manage rental payments for MTR or LTR. Does anyone have a recommendation for a STR method of payment that is easy to use for the guest and can return payments easily in case of cancellations? Thank you!

Zelle, Stripe, PayPal, Venmo etc.

I prefer Zelle as it is supported by all the major banks and transfers are near instant.

I even take checks for reservations that are far enough in the future. I have some guys in a fishing club and when they come to town for a fishing tournament they send me a check. I don't charge them a deposit anymore as they are repeat guests that I trust.

Besides the bigger ones mentioned above you might want to look into Lynnbrook they specialize in merchant services for Vacation Rentals

I've used venmo because it was one of the original ones, but like @John Underwood said, zelle is accepted by all the banks...

I love guesty for hosts- it builds out a website and hosts it, collects payments adds insurance. Etc. I highly recommend it for doing it quickly- you an do it in about 10 min start to finish- it just takes your data from airbnb.

best of luck!

I second Zelle. It is a solid way to get paid. We use it to pay our cleaner.
