STR property websites and payment platforms
I'm purchasing my first STR. I plan to use AirBnB, VRBO and all that. I also want to build a simple website for the property. Does anyone have a favorite platform specifically for property websites? I've used Wix and Squarespace before so would be inclined towards those again. Any experience with that is appreciated. For now, for any bookings, I will drive from the website to an STR platform like AirBnB. At some point, I might also consider a payment platform direct from the website, outside of AirBnB. Does anyone have any experience with that? Thanks.

A lot of PMS systems offer free / inexpensive direct booking sites, but I dont think you need a PMS with just 1. If you go into multiple units eventually it may be the easy button to do that.
We use Bizcor which specializes in STR sites, but it may be overkill again as I think they cater to PM's.
