Will a Property Management Company boost revenue/profit for my highly seasonal STR?
Hello!
I'm new here and have a question I'm hoping some experienced STR investors an help with. I have a STR in a resort community outside St Louis.
I’ve been managing it myself, utilizing Guesty to sync my bookings and send out automated messages. It’s very seasonal here and the only months I’m actually paying the mortgage in full is during high season in summer. Otherwise I am kicking in some of my own money to pay the mortgage. I purchased this home with the intent to retire here but I no longer wish to do that. I’m considering selling and using the proceeds to reinvest in a long term rental closer to where I live but before I do, I am curious if you think a rental management company may be able to help boost rentals, thus making this a profitable property?
