Where to start

I have a few long term multi families but now I'm looking to venture out into STR. I'm looking at Benton harbor or neighboring Michigan coastal towns. Dows anyone have any advice or better places to start?

Check with RPOA organization

Can you expand on what the benefits would be for people to check out this organization or join? I looked it up but was wondering what your insight would be. Thank you.

One other thing I forgot to mention about location was there are lots of little lakes around here where people set up and have good cash flowing and equity building STRs but the cost of the properties are higher but not like Lake Michigan water frontage prices. But definitely another option with water access and close to the lake and wineries. Just something else to think through when considering properties over in SWMI.
