Just bought my first property! Next steps...

Hi all, me and my Dad just bought our first property. It's almost 15 acres of land in Oklahoma. I'm in TX so it's about a 2 hour drive from me. I already know what I want to do with it and have plans to eventually have 6-8 STR tiny homes on it. My Dad wants to put a barndo on the land as well, for storage and a place to stay while we're up there building. There is water and electricity at the road, and putting in a road is the first step. Has anyone else done something like this here? What was you next steps,any pitfalls to avoid. I'd also like to eventually put a small pool with one of the STR rentals but worry about safety risks and liability. Is it worth it to put one in? TIA
