Tools to Help Select a Market

Hi, this is my first post and I am still getting started with STR rentals. I am in the process of trying to select a market from 3 different candidates. So far I haven't paid for any online tools, just tried free versions. I'm finding that the data isn't great with free tools. Are there any free tools that are good enough to help with market / potential investment analysis or would you recommend paying for a tool? I want to make sure I do my due diligence but also dont want to waste money.

If you’re seriously comparing three markets, it’s worth paying for at least one month of a solid tool like AirDNA or PriceLabs Market Dashboards just to validate the numbers. It’s a small cost that can save you from a bad buy.
