Waiver for sauna / hot tub

Raghav Kapur
Posted

Hey all - we've just installed a sauna in our Blue Ridge cabin (also have a hot tub), thinking it may spur incremental demand.

We've printed and laminated the customary risks & items to be made aware of and placed copies outside of the sauna. However, we were toying with the idea of having guests sign a waiver before they use the sauna (and maybe the hot tub too) to further protect us against liabilities. The alternative is sending them a message on the app discussing the risks. How do you all typically address this? Thank you!

Waivers are useless.  Just keep your place safe and have appropriate safety signage.
