VRBO account suspended
We neglected our VRBO listing for a while since it was not generating many bookings.
Now our account has been suspended after we declined too many booking requests. Most of those declines were for short stays during peak season.
We corrected the issue by updating our minimum stay requirements, but VRBO still refuses to reactivate the account.
We have tried calling VRBO, but customer service has not been helpful. They have told us the only option is to create a new VRBO account.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Is creating a new VRBO account the right move?
The main drawback is losing our five-star reviews and having to start from scratch.

I have never heard of this issue, but I've never heard of someone refusing too many booking requests because they didn't have their minimum night stay set correctly.
I'd keep calling them them and maybe you can get someone more sympathetic. If they keep refusing to reinstate your account then you'll have no choice but to create a new account.
A new account should give you the temp boost in the search results.
