BPCon 2026 - Who's Going?

Question

Anyone going?  I'm thinking of attending but not sure what to expect.  If anyone has been before, let me know what you thought of it.

Yes, I attended BPCON25 and found it to be a well-run, if somewhat overwhelming, event!

The networking was absolutely INSANE, so I'm planning to attend this year as well.

Like @Jay Hinrichs, I spent most of my time in the exhibit area trying to meet people, rather than in the breakout sessions.

I felt the keynote speaker, Chris Voss (author of "Never Split the Difference"), was outstanding, but I was already a fan.

If you can make it, I urge you to experience it for yourself and then decide.

(Just be sure to create a solid gameplan in advance, because it's a MONSTER!)

I have gone to 4 BPCons including the last one in Vegas.   My least favorite was the one in Orlando.   They typically announce the location of the next one at the closing keynote.   When they announced the Orlando location, it was the least well received of any of the other location announcements I was present for.

It was my least favorite BPCon, and by the reaction to the announcement of it being held in Orlando again I was not alone, but the last one they had the big closing event at universal studios.   The park was closed just for BPCon members.   It was the 2nd time I got to experience that at universal studios Orlando.   It is amazing how many rides you can get in when the park is at low capacity.   I would have enjoyed it more but my wife was not feeling well, so I did it solo.

I will likely end up going, but I was far from thrilled at that location.

The sessions for the most part are more beneficial to less experienced investors, but the networking can be great.   In addition, I write off the trip and get a vacation.   Tough to pass up that (but I have been to Orlando quite a few times).

Note, one good contact that benefits your business can easily justify the cost.   I believe I have done this at the last 3 BPCons, if not all 4.

I've been on BiggerPockets for about 10 years and went to my first BPCon in 2025.

As mentioned here, It is a huge event and well-run. Tons of people to meet and overwhelming at times, especially if you're not sure which sessions to attend or events to check out.

3 things that made my BPCon experience super valuable:1. The "Whova" app - you can find all of the events/sessions, etc. on the app and RSVP ahead of time. You can also find and message other attendees to chat while you're at BPCon. If you're looking to keep in touch with folks after networking at the conference, the app makes it super easy to swap information. 2. The main hall is open throughout the day, so you can drop in before and in between sessions and outside networking. At the main hall, you'll find vendors from lenders, to builders, to tech platforms, and many more. Here, you can also grab coffee, and a quick bite which keeps you from having to plan every single meal and allows you to stay in the mix during the day.3. The outside networking events. Some vendors and groups will sponsor evening events i.e. happy hour which is great if you want to take a break from daytime events, get jetlagged your first night, or want to keep the conversations going with people you meet at the main event.

Im 50/50 since its about 1.5 hours from me.  Generally not a big fan of Orlando though :D
