Research before investing.

Many people think short-term rentals are just about finding a nice property.

But experienced investors know it’s about the numbers and the regulations.

Before investing, smart operators check:
• local STR regulations
• demand in the area
• average occupancy rates
• operating costs

A beautiful property without demand is still a bad investment.

Research always comes first.

The great thing with an STR is is more than just an STR. One of our properties has been an incredibly profitable MTR. We were getting double what we could as an LTR on it and now that the insurance rental is finished, we are in STR mode. The gold with this is if we had to pivot, it would still be viable as an LTR.

1 property and at least 3 options.

Always, always, ALWAYS buy right!
