Semi Annual CC Points Post Part 3

Here is my semi annual reminder not to sleep on Credit Card rewards as a small business owner/operator.

Next week I will be headed to Europe from Tampa (TPA-ZRH-CAG) in biz class.  Retail cost $5,600 per ticket, points cost via Aeroplan (transfer from Capital One) 75k point + $77 in tax/fee.  That is something like 8c a point.  Capital One is also 2x points per $1 spent so about $37k in spend.

No reason to be using a debit card in 2026!
