Vacation Rentals in the Florida Keys

So, I love the Florida Keys, and when I lived on the mainland, we vacationed there yearly. Rental rates seem friendly, but does anyone have the lowdown? How are vacancy rates? Can you cash-flow, or is a game of barely breaking even?

Hi Andy and Kelly B

If you are talking about Key West is totally different from all other keys.

In KW occupancy rate is about 85 to 92% year round , even in the summer time

which is low season there has been high as well. Yes there's restriction regarding STR

Only some areas of town have a transient license which allows renting nightly and if you

dont have a license you can only rent 30 days min .

Hope this info helps

Cheers
