We were very disappointed in the bedding. It appeared to have been just purchased and it was not comfortable at all. The sheets were so soft that we were not used to that. Also, we allow our dogs to sleep with us every night and the hosts did not encourage that.
Long story short they were accustomed to sleeping in dirty sheets and dirty comforter.
I have several more, even more bizarre.
