Between seasons in Lake Arrowhead

We are new, in Rimforest. Had a great, busy winter. Then spring came around and it's been completely dead! I guess I should have lowered the price but wondering how big of a difference other people are seeing between seasons. Luckily summer is here and it's picking back up but it's been basically empty all spring unfortunately, still learning.

Thanks!

Maybe you can change your ad on the website for the off seasons to focus on the local events.  For examples of events you can read the schedule at Lake Arrowhead Pavilion.   They post it here:

https://thelakearrowheadvillage.com/events/

Start advertising now for say the Octoberfest, it lasts a few weeks in the Fall.

Put on your website a few of the events for Lake Gregory that are more family focused, say the sand castle or Dragon boats.  The LG Chamber of Commerce sponsors most events there.

Maybe check with the US Forestry to see what events they have.  Often its ranger lead hikes, or volunteer trail repair, sometime they have a native plant sale.

Then when folks are looking to book for the Summer/Winter they see the Spring/Fall events advertised.  Put on a 'deal' that if they book a Spring/Fall weekend they can get 15% off, or 1/2 price cleaning fee or whatever.  Or offer a free fishing pass for LG.  You can buy a ten pack for $70.  Offer deals for celebration of Spring and Fall birthdays or anniversaries too.  Try to get your Summer and Winter bookings to also book a 'sale' Fall or Spring booking at the same time.

BTW,  my parents had a cabin in LG since I was a child until about 2015, and I lived there in my own house from 1999 until I retired in 2017.  About half the houses seem to be rentals.
