Inquiries ... a giant waste of time

I have gotten maybe 12 inquiries rather than instant bookings from Airbnb the last 9 months and yesterday vrbo.com.

responded professionally, and not a single one ever led to a traceable booking. Respond professionally, answer their questions quickly, and crickets.

some of the Airbnb inquiries were bottom fishers. One tried to rent a two-bedroom vacation rental for 316 for a month

I love instant booking.

@Ken Latchers

Here is my auto response inquiry template:

“Hello Carly and thank you for your interest in our property! We have THE most popular cabins in the GSMNP area! Please read the entire listing as it will answer any question you may have. If you you can't find the answer to your particular question just let us know and we'll get back to you as soon as possible! Luke & Avery”

IGMS sends this for me “upon inquiry.” Generally I do not respond further.
