Disconnecting utilities during down times?

Three of my houses are what most of you would consider a "big" house.  Combined, there are 22 beds and 8 bathrooms.  These normally get rented last, smaller 2 and 3 bedroom places get rented first.  I'm considering stopping the trash collection service.  That would be about $100/month total.  I'm also considering stopping the cable/wifi.  That's $300/month total.  People can still move in on a weekend, and by Monday the service would be resumed.  Electric, water, gas and sewer would remain on.

I'm also considering dropping cable and wifi entirely.  My city has a wifi service, and all my properties receive the signal.  I could buy about 50 Roku boxes and connect them to all the televisions.  When people rent a place, I can buy them 7, 14 or 30 days worth of wifi service.
