Finding an STR to purchase (existing STR for sale)

Posted

I'm wondering if there are ways to find properties that are for sale that are already STR properties. I'm currently using Zillow/Realtor.com etc. but I'm not finding a lot of properties that are existing STRs. How do others find their potential properties to purchase?

Realtors, property managers or cold-calling current hosts on platforms like Airbnb. A lot depends on if you're looking in a popular STR location or not: not many realtors are like @Avery Carl who own and operate STR’s.
