How do you pay your cleaner and handyman?

I only have one STR at the moment but could have upwards of 5 by the end of 2021. I’ve been using Zelle  and Venmo but I think it’s time to treat this more like an actual business. Any advice is appreciated.

I pay any way they want because either way, it comes the checking account I want to use. PayPal, Venmo, I don’t care.

My cleaner used to do it for free, and I'd get to sleep with her.  Now she takes whatever share of the rent she wants and gives me the rest.

Some like Venmo, PayPal, Zelle and even Google Pay.  Regardless, i have all these tied to my business account so its all tracked and comes from same place.  In our market, it's very "rural" and still very old school.  Good help hard to find, so when we land one, we do what we can to keep them happy ....and paid!

I pay them through Zelle from my business checking account for the property. They get the funds immediately, and it’s all tracked through the proper business account. In general, I pay however these critical resources want to be paid.

I have them send an invoice and my assistant checks that the invoice is correct then she pays it via direct deposit. Then my book keeper then sees it and puts it on the books so my CPA can handle it with the tax man.  I read lots if books and my systems rock :)

As others have said, I also pay them how they want to be paid. Some are by PayPal, some by check, some by Venmo and some by bank transfer. I have them send an invoice to be checked by my assistant and then paid.

I pay my handyman by check as that's what he prefers.

Since finding a good handyman isn't easy I try to be accommodating - I pay him how he wants to be paid and I pay immediately once I receive the invoice.
