Short Term Rental Security Deposit Advice?

Hey everybody!

I have a cabin near Pigeon Forge under contract and am hoping to get some insights regarding security deposits for short term rentals. What do you typically hold for security deposit? I am using Your Porter for a PMS  with their direct booking site and will also be listed on AirBnB and VRBO.

Thanks!

Luke

@John Underwood

I also charge 500 on VRBO. For high risk Airbnb reservations, I ask for a separate security deposit payable through the resolution center before I release the codes. I refund it after the checkout to ensure compliance.
