Scattered Airbnbs and Self Managing Short Terms

Anyone out there have airbnbs scattered around the country/world AND they self manage? Tell me all your secrets please!

The job description would read something like "must be a self motivated leader, with a knack for problem-solving on the fly. Quick learners who are always willing to seek advanced training and take charge while accepting responsibility. Must be able to read people and establish relationships with trusted vetted support staff and do it all remotely. Customer service skills helpful but can be overcome with automated templates. Must be able to withstand irrational decisions by OTA's and accept criticisms graciously. Rewards are directly related to your mastery of skills. Unlimited potential. Those with thin skin and inclination to blame others need not apply."
