STR Service to Shut Down Parties/Unruly Guests

Posted

I’m a long time lurker and first time poster in the BP Forums.

After listening to a lot of the BP and other podcasts about short term rentals over the last year, I’ve noticed avoiding/shutting down parties seems to be a common pain point for hosts in metro areas.

Through a combination of devices like NoiseAware and Ring doorbell, there is potential to automate messaging to guests that there is excessive noise or too many guests at the property. Going one step further, a host could have a member of my team dispatched to the property if they do not comply with requests to shut things down.

My questions to experienced hosts are:

Do you think there is room in the market for a service that is on call to shut down a party before it gets out of hand?

What would a service like this be worth to you?

Is there a similar service like this that exists?

Shut them down before they book. Tighten up your listing.

If that doesn’t work call the cops. Or call @Paul Sandhu
