STR - Destin Fl area or other Suggestions
Looking for my First STR. I do have some commercial properties but my first dive into this. I am interested in Beach areas and hear Destin FL is a great place to find properties and host STR. Asking for help!

@Ron Stead and @Sarah Taylor - I'm an investor and agent in the Destin to Panama City Beach markets, with STRs in Destin and Fort Walton Beach. I'm also currently in the process of flipping a $1.8M beach house in Orange Beach, as well as some apartment complexes in other places in AL.
Overall, the STR market along the Gulf Coast is fantastic! Destin seems to drive the most traffic followed by Panama City Beach and Gulf Shores, but you can cash flow in all three areas. Are you planning on visiting and using the property for your family as well? If that's the case, I recommend visiting the various areas to determine which best suits your personal needs, as each area most definitely has it's own vibe.
