Short term rental exit strategy

Hey there biggerpockets community. I am an investor in northern CA and currently taking a look at purchasing a STR in the near future. I was wondering how members in the BP community are preparing for a recession. I know it's impossible to "time" the market but I am curious to hear other peoples opinions. Especially interested in investors exit strategy with regard to short term rentals. Thanks!

@Jeffrey Smith Still buying as well. Just went under contract on a STR in the Smokies last week. Recessions happen…so does inflation. Just stay disciplined in your numbers & evaluations and you should be fine.
