Short term rental ADU Portland OR
In Portland, an ADU is considered a part of your home as opposed to a second unit. This allows us to rent our ADU full time as a short term rental as we live next door in the main house. This would not be possible with a duplex as the city recognizes that as a separate unit. Living on site and my wife and my flexible schedule make managing the unit a breeze. This unit cost us $250,000 to build and generates an average of over $3000/ month.

@Stewart Hulick I've been telling all my client's to do this! I think there's a great opportunity here because of how restrictive short term rentals are, especially now that you can build 2 ADU's on most properties.
