Hi I recently entered a post on this site regarding FSBO of my Laguna Niguel (orange county) CA Condo. I got some good advice and linked up with a good Transaction Coordinator that seems quite good. She has suggested using HAUS to get photos and get it on the MLS. They say they will do this at no cost to me - but the contract is a little concerning to me. I wanted to get other opinions. How have other FSBO sellers gone about getting their homes on the MLS?
Also I have read that some areas of the country have more than one MLS or database. Is this true for Orange County CA?
@Brad Rondeau there is only one MLS in Orange County and they are attempting to go statewide. Right now it covers about 1/3 of the state. Getting your property on the MLS is a great idea as that has to most power to get eyes on your property. Just FYI, that 95% of FSBO's end up with an agent for this reason. You are probably getting a lot of phone calls telling you that they "have a buyer for your property right now." If you want to save on commissions there are other options available.
