Short Term Rentals question

Hello,

I am still a very new investor, but I am really starting to get interested in STR. I have listened to Tony Robinson for a while now on the Real Estate Rookie Podcast, and he has now intrigued me to the point I am looking on line. I am looking for some advice on how to find a good STR. Do you find them on Zillow or just drive for dollars type of thing. Especially if you are out of state attempting to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Doug Turner

I've found my last few on Zillow. Other platforms will work as well, I just really like the way their search engine is configured. Search creatively....meaning not just what you think is natural. Change the keywords around, look for different size lots, BRs, BAs, features Etc....sometimes different places will popup if you search like this....

When you find a place, go search on a competitors search engine, you will often find more pictures, a different description, better historical data, etc..
