20 And Looking for Guidance
Hello all! My name is Emily Sawchuk and I’m a Junior at the University of Michigan studying Political Science, Philosophy and Economics. In high school, I worked as front desk associate to 65+ real estate agents for a few years at Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel Birmingham. The time I spent working at CBWM sparked my interest in property management/real estate investing. Recently I began taking online classes to become a licensed real estate agent. I should be finished with the program and scheduled for my exam in about a month. I’m reaching out today to get some advice as to what my next steps should be. My goal right now is to start learning some of the ins and outs of the industry. Ultimately, id like to make my first deal within the next 8 months (fingers crossed).
Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated! This is my first post on BP with many more to come. Thank you all for your time and I look forward to hearing/learning about your experiences :)
