Newbie from NW Suburban area of Illinois
Hello All,
My name is Scot and I'm located in Algonquin, IL. I have been fascinated with real estate for many years. I owned a couple of properties in the past jointly with my father as rentals. The cupboard is bare.....have done a lot of reading trying to determine the right niche for my appetite. I do have my real estate license but haven't done anything with it...
I'm an owner of any independent insurance agency so that has taken much of my time, but I have never lost my passion for real estate. I would like to own several rental properties mostly single family and perhaps in the future some commercial strip centers.
I'm interested in foreclosures, bank owned properties, and perhaps HUD homes. I'd also like to know if there's any networking groups, meetups, etc in my area.
