Hope this is the right place for introducing myself. My name is Michael and I've never been a part of any forum but bigger pockets just seems like an awesome place. I'm looking to invest in the Chicago area. I've been working hard to save money so I could start my first investment and now that I'm there I'm a little trigger shy. Don't want all my hard work to vanish because of my inexperience. Which is why I was hoping for some recommendations with some honest wholesalers and general contractors in the area. If anyone is particularly impressed with one in the area I'd love to get in contact. I'm really hoping to flip and maybe just rehab and turn into a buy and hold. Anyway those are my goals. Hope they can come to fruition and I can take part in this awesome forum.

Welcome to BP! Your goals sound great! If you haven't listened to all of the great content in the Podcasts, I would start there. I downloaded all to my phone and have listened to all of them from the beginning of the year and loved the information I got. I got something from each and every show, even if it wasn't about the specific area I'm planning to work in!!
