My husband and I own a 3 bdrm, 2.5 bath home in a pleasant neighborhood with a laid-back HOA. We are about to finish and move into new home construction project that includes a guesthouse where my parents will live. We have our current home on the market which has been strong this summer but we might have missed the best window for sales as we enter the fall. Due to our rapidly approaching move-out date, we are going to keep the house on the market for 1 month, if it does not sell for our desired price, we are going to rent it out. So we thought we better get a leg-up on landlord information just in case! This site has been amazingly informative, many great articles and members have been very helpful in answering my early questions. Thanks!
