Checking in from San Antonio, Texas

Hi,

My name is Greg Marais currently living in San Antonio, Texas. I don't have any experience in real estate investing but just started classes to get my Realtor license so I can get some general knowledge on the process of buying and selling homes as well as access to the MLS. I'm planning on doing fix and flips then investing long term in buy and hold properties as well as some other safe long term investments.

I currently work full time for one of the largest health insurance companies assisting with health care management for one of our largest clients. I'm only 23 years old so I'm hoping I have enough time to learn how to become a successful investor.

Does anyone know of anyone good REIAs in San Antonio that are worth joining?

Thanks

Greg
