Hi all!
I’m Margaret and am very new to real estate investment. I am married and have 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren. My husband has 2 children. I currently own my home in San Diego but I do not have any investment properties yet. I worked in the corporate world for over 26 years. Last year I was laid off and have been looking for my next career – something more independent and rewarding. I recently took a RichDad course with one of my daughters, which opened my eyes to real estate investing!
I am interested in buying and holding multi-family properties, outside of California. My goal is to be able to live off of the passive income this will generate. I will be reading as much as I can on researching markets, finding teams in the areas I purchase, and finding financing; and I hope to learn from those of you on BP who have already traveled this rode!
I found BP through Brandon Turners’ “real estate in your twenties” site. Thanks @Brandon Turner for directing me here!!! There is a wealth of information here and a lot of experienced real estate investors! I look forward to connecting and building relationships with the community on BP!
