Back with a vengeance!

Hello! I'm Bailey. I've lived in NYC for 12 years and have started to learn about real estate investing for a couple years. I've had the plan that someday when my full-time job of 12 years finally re-structures (as they have every couple years) and I finally get caught up in getting laid off, I will know my direction and intelligent use of severance.

Well, today is that day! I will work through the end of the year there but I just became pro here because it's time. Happy to have this community to continue learning and networking. I am currently considering either to House Hack after the new year (after job ends) in the Hudson/Albany area or multi-unit in the broader but same area.

I'd start in real estate now, before you stop working at your job...Otherwise it will be a baptism of fire and very stressful if you don't have the income from your W2.
