New to BP looking at Richmond, VA

Hi all,

I am Dave Irby - currently living in Locust Grove, VA but planning to move to the Richmond, VA area in the next 2 years or so. I currently own a couple of vacation rental houses on the Outer Banks of NC (although I am not calling them investments since they still don't yield positive cashflow :-( ).

I am trying to do a better job in finding an initial investment in the Richmond, VA area that I could eventually move into once we decide to pull the trigger and relocate. Longer term, I would like to build a portfolio of rental properties for some extra income in retirement. I am planning to take the Sales agent class in December although I am not sure I will follow through on getting licensed.
