Hello BiggerPocketeers (something like that)!
Hello,
My name is Kile Exley I live right outside of Philadelphia and have just joined this website (duh). This is my official introduction, I found this site while making a plan to move to the Los Angeles area (The Valley) in the summer after I turn 18. I had read an article about a guy who had bought an apartment to 'rent' it out on Airbnb. This gave me the idea that doing something similar might help to alleviate the somewhat expensive cost of an apartment. Then I discovered this site and the great information it contains. As of right now I've read the Beginners Guide and am researching small multifamily properties as a start. (To live rent free hopefully). Any leads to information or advice that I can use in my planning will be immensely appreciated. Thank you in advance.

welcome @Kile Exley - I'd check out Commercial Real Estate Investing for Dummies if you're looking at multi-family properties. Dolf DeRoos also has a good book on it too. That's what I read when I got started.
