Hey I am new here and plan on becoming an investor!

Hello everyone! My name is Jonathan and I’m brand new here, obviously. I heard about BP on a podcast and purchased one of Brandon Turners books Investing in real estate with no money. I know this isn’t going to be easy but I’m all the way in. I plan on starting with wholesaling and scaling my business! I’m sure I’ll meet some like minded purple in here! I can’t wait!

What's up @Jonathan Guzman - Welcome to the community! I'd have a look for any wholesale-related FB Groups or Meetups in the area. Your best bet is connecting with any locals willing to coach/mentor you as you get up and running!

I don't have any real estate advice for you because I am in the same position you are in, but since you live in the same area I am open to working and learning with you. I have no idea what to do as well but maybe we can figure it out together.

Welcome to BP and the world of real estate investing.
One advise I can give you for now is that be aware of all the "gurus" out there who want to get into your pocket before you even started your journey. You can get 90% of the advise for free and books are the most affordable way to learn. If someone takes you to a symposium/meetup and afterwards want to enroll you into a $5000 course to "show you the secret of getting rich quick", best way for you is to walk away. Not saying those things don't have their merits, some do and some don't. But at this point you don't have the knowledge, experience or intuition to make a good call on the values those gurus will bring to you.

Welcome to RE! Wholesaling can be very lucrative. I haven't done it myself but I am considering it as well. You don't need money to start but it will help a lot and wholesaling is a good way to get started!

Welcome to the group! You have stumbled upon your newest addiction. When I first found BP I was also a newbie and I literally fell asleep every night with my face on my keyboard because I was reading and soaking up all the information that was being shared in the forums and the blogs. If you have specific questions about wholesaling I am more than happy to answer them for you! I have been at this for almost 8 years so I like to think I know a thing or two by now :)
