Hello, I'm totally new to real estate investing. Ive been lurking on this site for a few months reading as much as I can. My goal this year is to find one property in the 50k range and turn it into a rental. I'm new to the East Coast so I might be a bit behind on my area knowledge and I have no idea how to find deals, but nonetheless I'm committed to starting this year.

Thanks everyone for sharing so much useful information without all the pitchy get-rich-quick nonesense that seems to plague this business.
