Hey BP!

My name is Francesca and I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I have been binging Bigger Pockets content for the past 6 months now and it is fueling a real estate obsession. Guess youre growing up when your workout motivation goes from hiphop music to biggerpockets podcasts...

I am just starting to check out the forums and figured I should make an introduction. I am a real estate newbie but have always loved the idea of making a house a home and watched my family do the so with multiple rentals properties of their own.

My first and only real estate purchase at this point is the condo that my husband and I currently live in that I bought two years ago. I remember thinking how crazy the housing prices were and that this was the best deal i was going to find... oh the good ole days. With a little help we made a basic, bland and boring 1000 sq feet into a unique home with personality.

Now that we are married and starting to grow out of it, we are considering  another primary home, with the plans to rent out our condo, but also are very eager to dive into another rental property. I'd really like to invest in a short term/airbnb rental, because I enjoy the hospitality side of things, but have been looking more seriously at small multifamily. I think multi-family is  safer bet especially with the area/surrounding areas of my home that I am the most familiar and most comfortable investing in at this point.

I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read this and get to know me! I am eager and excited to learn even more from all of you and BP as I start this journey!

Francesca
